Rae is on the move

(Rae loves Q-tips and does this dress look familiar...ah-hem...Tiffany?...It's as old as you!!)
So this last week has been quite eventful.  Rae decided to learn how to crawl!!!  She just started crawling out of nowhere.  I didn't know if she would even learn to crawl b/c she was so focused on walking forever. She's funny b/c she only crawls with one leg, so she has this gimpy crawl, but it does the trick.

Rae crawling:

I gave up on her walking anytime TOO soon b/c she was really stubborn and didn't want to walk unless we held her hand.  Here is a video from a couple weeks ago of her not wanting to walk....and she's really tired and her mom is teasing her.  That wasn't nice of me, especially b/c her whine makes me cringe b/c I feel like that's her main communication:

A few days after she learned how to crawl, she started walking on her own.  She lets go of our hands now and will take off walking.  Rae is also starting to talk a little bit.  Totally crazy!!  She says "hi", "wow", "baby", "mama", "dada", "baba", and I am sure there are some more....oh, she even makes car noises.  I don't know where she picked that up ;)

Rae walking and talking:

Rae has also learned how to wave in the past few days.  That's super fun. I love when babies learn that:

Mack is doing well.  He is talking more and more every day.  My favorite word he says is "alright."  He starts a lot of his sentences with "alright".....then always has something to say about cars...(he says alright in the background of Rae's walking video).  He also asks the question "Where are?"  a lot.  I think that is cute.
Mack's biggest thing is prayers.  He won't eat his food until we pray, and if he gets seconds, then we pray again, and thirds, again...you get the picture.  So we say a lot of prayers.  The best part is Rae has learned how to fold her arms and I think that is so cute.  Mack doesn't say the prayer, he just tells us what to pray for which usually is a list "cars, pancakes (which can be any food that is flat), baby Way, money (me), daddy, Mack, aouch (apple), etc."  He's learning lots of food words which is fun, oh, and when he does something silly, he says, "Oh, Mack."  He's fun.

Covey is really good at having Mack help him with projects.  Here is Mack and Covey breaking down a nightstand (I got it at Goodwill for parts.... to fix our dresser...it was cheaper to buy the entire nightstand than the parts at the hardware store.)

Rae, of course, is always willing to help.

This is a pic of me with some of my favorite Latins.  The Latin elder is from LA, whose dad was my bishop and his brother was my WML, and his sisters knocked with me A LOT when I served there.  What a tender mercy!!  The other Latins are in our ward, whom I love, and Mack LOVES his cars:)
