Little Rae is on Her Way!!!!

So we just got back from getting our baby ultrasound and we're having a GIRL!!!! Yay! The ultrasound tech was quite rude and couldn't tell us if the baby was healthy or not, so I will find that out later, but she has 2 legs, arms, a heart, and kidneys, etc.  So things looked good.  So I hope all is well.  Unfortunately, they didn't have 3D imaging here, but luckily in IA they did, so I have some older ultrasound pics of Rae when she was younger.  Here are little Rae's first baby pics:

These were taken in June, so Rae is about 10 weeks old:)  Isn't she just adorable? :)

These are from today (22 weeks).  This is Rae's face (on the R side) and her fat belly (on the L side)...she must be related to Mack:)  She weighs 1.1 lbs.

This is little Rae's foot:)

And this is me with little Rae inside 2 weeks ago (20 weeks):

I know I can't send out this post without a Mack video and a Mack update.  Mack's favorite thing to do these days is watch his own Mack videos....hehe.  He's watching some right now. I should get a video of him watching himself:)  He is running a lot faster and getting really hard to keep up with.  We go on lots of walks on the busy streets b/c he LOVES to watch all the cars and make car sounds.  Here is a video of him in his favorite car:

Mack and Summertime

Mack has had a pretty crazy summer adjusting to so many changes, but we think he's done quite well.  The activities he loves most are riding in his red convertible, playing with his new dog, reading books about animals and cars (he can do more car and animal sounds than he can say English words), and taking any chance he can get to play with water...even if it's cold outside.  Here are some pics and videos of Mack recently:

This is Mack's stroller replacement.  We found this great red convertible at Goodwill and he loves it.  We also found this dog that barks and shakes and he thinks it's great.  So he's constantly grabbing our hands and leading us to either his red convertible for a ride or to make his dog bark.
This pic was taken on a super hot 90 degree Sunday afternoon.  We have no A/C in Washington, so we got out our camping chairs and Rubbermaid buckets and left it up to Mack to cool us down with splashes from cup-fulls of water.  He had a blast:
Here are some videos of Mack:

This is a video of Mack at this fun water fountain near the boardwalk and shipyard...it was chilly that day.  However, that doesn't stop him b/c he loves playing in these fountains.  My memory card filled up while shooting, so this is all I got:

This other video is long and probably super annoying.  I was trying to take a much needed nap, and Mack wouldn't take his nap, so I got out the camera for all to see what Covey and I used to deal with.  We took down his crib the day after this video b/c 1. We were tired of the noise, 2. Mack was shaking out all the screws and ruining the crib, and 3. We needed to start conditioning him to a bed b/c the new baby will get the crib, so now Mack has a mattress on the floor, but he usually ends up just sleeping on the floor next to the door.

This last video was taken on that super hot Sunday that correlates with the pic above.  It's nothing too exciting, but another Mack video for those who want to watch it:

Hopefully I will be able to update my blog again soon....I hope to get my ultrasound in the next week or two and I will announce what we're having:)

Welcome to Washington

It's been awhile since I have updated the blog, and I really have been meaning to, so today I decided I better do it.  Most of you know we moved to Bremerton, WA.

Here is a pic of Covey and I on the ferry to Seattle.  Covey was so excited to ride it, he was like a little kid.

We love it here. I am not a fan of the city of Bremerton mainly b/c the traffic lights are soooo long and I am really just tired of living in the city, but we love our home, yard, water close by, our ward, and Covey's new job.  So life is good.  Here are some pics of our new place:

This is the whole duplex:
This is our backyard, which leads back into acres of wooded, city trails and we have lots of delicious blackberry bushes.  If anyone visits us, you will receive a complimentary jar of homemade blackberry jam;)
This is our back porch area...I love it b/c Mack plays back here all day long.
This is our main living area: FR, DR, and kitchen...no stairs...everything is so easy to get to in this house:
 This is the FR:
 This is the kitchen:
 This is our bathroom:
 This is our bedroom:
Mack's bedroom is about the same size, and I took these pics when he was asleep, so just imagine his room with a mattress on the floor, a changing table, and toys everywhere....then that would be Mack's room:)  I also am too lazy to add a pic of our front area where the carport is.  It's really not that exciting anyway, but that's Mack's favorite place to play b/c it allows him to run out in the street.  We're working on obedience right now....and probably for many more years to come.

I am in the process of uploading Mack videos...so make sure to check out my other post:)
