I'm great at this blogging thing ;) Another 6 months has flown by and I haven't written a thing! Well, WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! What an adventure that was! I must say we're super happy not to report to or pay a landlord anymore. I'm not sure if paying a bank, insurance company, and the government is much better, but we sure love the freedom of being able to do whatever we want to our house and yard without permission. Anyway, enough chit chat. Let's get to the pictures.
Here is our cute, little, yellow house. We love it. All 889 sq. ft. of it;) Of course, we wanted 10 acres and a second bathroom, but WA is a little outrageous in asking prices, so we are grateful for our 3 bedroom, one bathroom house, 7400 sq ft yard, and did you notice we have a garage too:) Woot Woot!
Katie and I thought it would be a great idea to paint the door red. After 5 coats of paint I can honestly say I love it. I wish I had a better pic though, but I don't, sorry!
A HUGE HUGE THANKS to my inlaws, Seth, David, Katie, and Betsy for being lifesavers. They came and helped us remodel our house and watch our kids. They did more in 10 days than we could've done in a year. Also John came out and put up all the trim in our house. Another lifesaver. Thanks John!

My cousins gave us this table and it had mold all over one side of it. We sanded it, stained it with vinegar/steel wool, and Covey made these awesome benches. We love our "new" table.
Before: Family Room
After: Family Room- This entertainment center was a God send. I needed one wall to fit the TV and computer plus all our junk without people seeing wires, clutter, and toys. This was our solution and I love it!
This is a vinyl sticker clock I've been saving to put up in my first home for 3 years:) I love it b/c it's huge, looks nice, and you can see what time it is when you're outside through the front window:)
You can never have too many pics on one wall right?
This pic was when we first moved in but shows more of the room. Things are a little different now, but I don't have updated pics. Sorry. I guess I'll post those in about....6 months;)
The bathroom was our biggest and most expensive remodel

Another thanks to Seth and David for all their hard work in there!
Here are some behind the scenes of demo/remodel
Thank you Katie and Betsy for all your help!!!
Here is our backyard that is about to be turned into a garden wonderland soon:)
This is a super fun children's museum in Tacoma that the kids loved!
Kids can never get enough water playtime!
Mack and Rae have a new best friend. Jim. He is our 68 year old next door neighbor who gives them a "num num" everyday. They never forget to visit him.
Unfortunately, our beautiful Jacaranda tree was growing into the power lines, so we had to cut it down. Covey is out there having a good time with that chainsaw.
Rae smiling by our "amazing" Christmas tree;)
Mack and Rae playing with fireworks on the 4th of July
Covey and I getting ready to run our super fun Warrior Dash. It was so muddy this year and they had a huge water slide at the end. That's the only kind of race I will pay to run in. Covey also made his kilt. He was determined to wear one even if he was up all night and early that morning finishing it;)
We took the kids to the Pacific Ocean for the first time down in Ocean Shores, WA. We loved it.
Rae is fearless
It was cold, but she didn't care. She loved jumping those waves.
Making sand castles:)
Mack and Rae gave up the bottle this summer. It was a bittersweet day for all of us. They did really well though.
Our friend, Stephanie, took our family pics at the beach by our house. She did an awesome job and we had fun doing it.
Mack and Rae LOVED Halloween. We spent all day going from one place to another getting candy and playing games. They loved their costumes. Mack was a racecar driver and Rae was a butterfly. Like her skirt? haha! She sure did!
We went to the Bean Museum in Provo with Aunt Sandy and Cousins Hudson and Emmaline. The kids really like the animals and airplanes.
John's Wedding. We had such a good time hanging out with the Richards in Utah. Mack asks to go on an airplane every day.
I was grateful Grandpa Richards could play with Rae during the pics. It looks like they had a good time.
Well, sorry this pics aren't in order. That is about how my life goes these days. Chaotic, but things get done whether they're in order or not. Unfortunately, I have been terrible at taking videos lately, so even though I have a few, I haven't downloaded any in ages, so til the next 6 months.
